Lots of people have been asking me what colors they should pick for their special day. Some girls have the hardest time picking the perfect color for this occasion.
Here is my advice to those girls who are unsure.
There are many things that could affect your decision. However, if you don't absolutely love your colors, DON'T SETTLE!!
First thing I would reccomend to you is to pick your favorite set of colors. Don't over do it though. One color with an accent color is always a good choice, or if you want things a bit more crazy limit yourself to only three colors. The possibilities are endless.
Now, compare your colors to the season. Fall colors should be a bit darker, earth tones are a great choice, a little weighted down. Winter colors should be light, pastels or just lighter tones of colors are ideal. You could also go with some shimmery colors like silvers and golds. In the Spring keep your colors light and playful, not quite pastel, but nothing too bright. For spring the spectrum of "socially acceptable" colors are endless. Then in the summer you would stick to bright cheerful colors like bright yellows and bright blues.
There are so many combinations and things that you can do with the colors you choose. Also, don't think that just because the colors you want are "out of season" you can't use them. You can always change the shade and tone of the color to be a little darker, lighter, or brighter. You don't have to do anything to it though.
Just remember that this is your day and you can do what you want. Be happy with your choice!!
